The Refrigeration School begins classes for new welding specialist program

The Refrigeration School Inc. (RSI), an HVAC/R school in Phoenix, has started classes for its new welding specialist program in collaboration with Tulsa Welding School (TWS). The program can accommodate 120 students.

The program focuses on welding safety, torch cutting processes, proper arc welding equipment setup, important welding control techniques, fundamental welding processes, and basic welding metallurgy. Using proven curriculum from Tulsa Welding School, classes are primarily lab-based and prepare students for entry-level positions in structural, pipe and pipeline, and thin-alloy welding.
