AWS opens registration for Certified Resistance Welding Technician exam prep sessions
AWS’s newest certification credential, the Certified Resistance Welding Technician (CRWT), co-developed by AWS and Resistance Welding Manufacturing Alliance (RWMA), provides a benchmark to evaluate resistance welding personnel and separates the qualified from the untested. The CRWT exam tests the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities in conducting the setup, operation, maintenance, testing, and quality control of resistance welding equipment.
To help prepare CRWT candidates before they take the exam, AWS offers a weeklong online, instructor-led seminar, with two sessions held March 16-24 and July 19-28. Both currently are accepting registrants. For more information, visit www.aws.org/crwt.
