Sandvik Materials Technology divests welding wire business
Sandvik Materials Technology has signed an agreement to divest its welding wire operations to ESAB, a provider of welding products and part of Colfax Corp.
The deal includes the production units in Sandviken, Sweden, and Scranton, Pa., as well as the global sales and product management organization, affecting about 120 employees.
