EB Industries hires director of operations

Farmingdale, N.Y.-based EB Industries, a provider of electron beam and laser welding services, has appointed Thomas A. Shelby to the position of director of operations.

Shelby, who most recently served as vice president of operations for Monarch Metal Fabrication in Bohemia, N.Y., has more than 25 years of experience in various manufacturing environments, including more than 15 years of management experience and more than 20 years in engineering and process development. His background includes working in medical, aerospace, construction, oil and gas, flow control, robotics, scientific, and optical industries.
