Pulsed GTAW inverter provides 300-amp output at 40 percent duty cycle
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products offers the Renegade™ ET 300iP DC GTAW/SMAW inverter, which features controls for pulsed GTAW and high-frequency or lift GTAW arc start options. It will be available in North America in Q2 2018.
The inverter produces a top output of 300 amps at 40 percent duty cycle, weighs 37 lbs., and measures 12.6 by 7.8 by 18.11 in. It connects to 230-V, one-phase power and 230- to 480-V, three-phase power (+/-10 percent) with autosensing functionality and no rewiring required.
It has a pulse frequency adjustable up to 999 pulses/sec. and a peak pulse width (or duration) adjustable between 10 and 90 percent.
