Tungsten grinder redesigned

The Piranha II tungsten grinder from Diamond Ground Products has been redesigned to include the same features that were recently applied to the larger Piranha III.

New features include a sliding dust shield for 100 percent dust containment, an integrated receptacle area for simplified electrode handling, a recessed handle, an on/off switch with LED, a lighter-weight chassis, and a blue powder coat.

The grinder offers longitudinal diamond grinding, flatting, and notch cutting, accommodating tungsten electrode diameters of 0.040, 1/16, and 3/32 in. Its included angle range is 10 to 60 degrees. The grinder, which features an enclosed grinding area, can sharpen tungsten as short as 1-3/4 in., or ¾ in. with the short collet kit upgrade.
