Stringer bead brush offers high material removal capabilities

Osborn has introduced a 4-in. stringer bead brush for weld cleanup applications, including root and hot pass, surface preparation, and pipe joining.

With an improved, patent-pending design structure, the brushes are made from carbon steel material and provide twice the life and 15 percent better material removal than their closest competitor, according to the manufacturer.

Primarily used with a 5/8-11 rolled thread, the brush is designed for long life, reducing the number of brush changes required. It is manufactured in the U.S. using the company’s new proprietary wire.
