Welding head designed to be compact, lightweight

Laser Mechanisms has introduced the FiberMINI® Weld ultracompact, lightweight welding head. Measuring 2.17 in. square around its central core, the head is suitable for fiber-delivered, solid-state laser systems up to 6 kW.

Optics are protected against contamination by an accessible cover glass (optional cover glass monitoring also is available). It is offered with either straight or right-angle fiber inputs.

Available in focal lengths to 11.81 in., the welding head features 0.39 in. of manual focus adjustment, optional camera viewing, and an air knife to help extend the life of the cover glass.
