ATI acquires Addaero

Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI) has acquired Addaero Mfg., a New Britain, Conn., provider of metal alloy-based additive manufacturing (AM) for the aerospace and defense industries.

“Addaero’s competencies are a natural extension of ATI’s metallic powder expertise,” said Rich Harshman, ATI chairman and president/CEO.
