Bossard signs 3-D printing deals with TRUMPF, German RepRap, Henkel

Bossard Group, a Switzerland-based fastener technology and logistics company, has signed partnership agreements with three 3-D printing companies, including metal additive manufacturing (AM ) system provider TRUMPF, German RepRap, and stereolithography company Henkel. Through the partnerships, Bossard Group says it will supply industrial 3-D printing equipment and AM materials and provide consultancy for the design of 3-D printable complex parts.

Through its new partnerships, Bossard says it will develop a new range of AM technologies based on each of the companies’ specialties: laser-based metal AM, fused deposition modeling, and stereolithography.
