Coherent acquires O.R. Lasertechnologie

Santa Clara, Calif.-based Coherent has announced its recent acquisition of O.R. Lasertechnologie GmbH, Dieburg, Germany, a producer of compact tools for laser additive manufacturing (AM) and systems for cutting, welding, marking, and engraving. Its products are used in such applications as automotive, aerospace, and medical.

Coherent is a provider of lasers and laser-based technology for scientific, commercial, and industrial customers.
