Desktop Metal elects former GE chairman/CEO to board of directors

3-D metal printing company Desktop Metal, Burlington, Mass., has announced that it has elected Jeffrey Immelt to its board of directors.

Immelt, the former chairman/CEO of the General Electric Co., has more than four decades of technology and business expertise.
