DfAM added to 3DEO’s mix of additive manufacturing services

3DEO, a supplier of metal 3D-printed parts, now offers customers design and engineering services. The Los Angeles company says its DfAM (design for additive manufacturing) and engineering offerings are meant to provide end-to-end support for customers specializing in the production of medical devices, industrial equipment, aerospace components, and consumer products.

The decision to offer early-stage DfAM services allows the company to meet customers’ needs at all stages of the product-development lifecycle, said 3DEO President Matt Sand. “Adding design and engineering services seemed natural to answer the call of our customers that need expertise in designing for additive manufacturing to gain a competitive advantage with innovative designs and breakthrough products.”
