Knust-Godwin adds metal 3D printer

Tool and component machining manufacturer Knust-Godwin, Campbell, Calif., is adding a Velo3D Sapphire metal additive manufacturing (AM) system to its fleet of seven metal AM machines at its Katy, Texas, facility.

Able to produce parts with low-angle geometries without support structures, the system comes with Flow™ preprint software and Assure™ quality management software.
