Prima Industrie announces Prima Additive s.r.l.

Italy-based Prima Industrie S.p.A. has announced the merger of its spinoff additive manufacturing business unit with 3D New Technologies s.r.l., which was already collaborating with the group for the development of systems based on powder bed fusion technology.

Prima Industrie, a manufacturer of laser systems for sheet metal processing, is the majority shareholder of the new company, called Prima Additive s.r.l.
