Ricoh offers manufacturers on-site 3D printing personnel
- February 19, 2021
- News Release
- Additive Manufacturing
The process of creating an on-site additive manufacturing operation can be overwhelming—especially for companies whose employees lack AM experience. Beyond staffing, it’s important to optimize 3D printing workflows and processes, maintain equipment, and control costs.
Ricoh USA Inc. offers customers the following services:
• A dedicated on-site staff of AM experts, which reduces the time customers must devote to running their AM machines.
• Operational oversight, including real-time production updates, production-increasing strategies, and machine and materials management that help control costs and reduce waste.
• Workflow optimization, a result of tracking all AM jobs and production statistics using AM-specific software.
• Hardware selection that is based on data analysis of the customer’s equipment and output requirements.
Ricoh reports that its services can be deployed at one site or scaled up to manage production at multiple sites.
