3D printer from Lynxter performs multiple processes

Lynxter’s S600D is a modular 3D printer that features interchangeable printheads for depositing materials in multiple formats. Five styles of heads are available: mono- and triple-extrusion filament for thermoplastic materials, single- and double-component liquid for silicones, and paste for ceramics.

The company, based in France, says users’ ability to affix the toolhead of their choice widens the range of materials and parts they can print.

The machine features a heated enclosure, 390-mm-dia. by 600-mm-high build envelope, quick-connector attachments, and maximum toolhead speed of 500 mm/sec. Build layers range from 50 μm to 1 mm thick, and resolution in the X, Y, and Z axes is 12.5 μm.
