AM Solutions introduces next-gen postprocessing system

The S1 postprocessing system from AM Solutions incorporates a swivel-mounted rotary basket for ergonomic loading and unloading of parts. This feature prevents recontamination of processed parts and contamination of the machine and its blast nozzles, according to AM Solutions, the Rösler Group’s additive manufacturing brand.

The S1, designed to remove residual powder from 3D-printed plastic, is a plug-and-play unit recommended for automatic depowdering and cleaning of small to midsize part volumes. The new design lets the user to switch from automatic to manual operation without time-consuming retooling, reports the company. And the integrated rotary basket allows the fully automatic processing of batches up to 25 liters and weighing up to 50 kg.
