Dyze set to launch pellet 3D printer

The Pulsar high-flow plastic pellet extruder was designed to 3D-print parts 1 m³ and larger as cost-effectively as possible, according to the manufacturer, Dyze Design. It claims the system outputs plastic pellets at rates up to 500 mm³/sec.
“It is our highest output flow solution and one of the fastest portable pellet extruders on the market,” says Dyze.
The company also cites the following features and benefits of the extruder:
• It processes all plastic pellets currently on the market, including high-temperature materials like PEEK and Ultem.
• The triple heat-zone design keeps polymers at a constant temperature. The top section receives cold pellets and generates the heat to melt them. Then, the middle zone stabilizes the polymer at a precise temperature, and, finally, the nozzle’s heater ensures an even flow.
• It accommodates large nozzles, those ranging from 1.00 to 5.00 mm, and the superabrasive-resistant steel nozzles maintain their size when printing abrasive materials.
• The 700-watt heating system ensures stable temperatures during high-speed 3D printing conditions.
• The all-metal frame, made from an aluminum alloy, is designed to withstand high-stress conditions.
Pulsar can be equipped with an optional feeding system.
