Ultimaker to launch cloud for additive manufacturing

The Ultimaker Cloud for overseeing industrial 3D printing workflows is scheduled to be unveiled March 19 along with Cura 4.0, the latest version of Ultimaker’s build software.

The initial capabilities of the cloud will allow users to:

• Store Cura settings and retrieve and use them anywhere on any computer.

• Access printing profiles configured by material experts from leading brands, choose the best available material for an application, and optimize settings in Cura.

• Share opinions and experiences with other users.

• Send print jobs to network-enabled Ultimaker printers from anywhere and stay informed of printing progress.
