Definitions

  1. A revolving spool-shaped device on which metal is wound. The payout reel has an expanding mandrel to grip the inside diameter of the coil. The mandrel rotates as the material is pulled off of the coil. Also called dereeler or coil reel. A more common term is uncoiler.
