nexAir acquires Welders Supply & Equipment Co.
Memphis, Tenn.-based nexAir, a distributor of atmospheric gases and welding supplies, has agreed to acquire the assets and operations of Welders Supply & Equipment Co. Inc., a distributor of welding and medical equipment, gases, and safety supplies with locations in Montgomery and Andalusia, Ala.
The transaction is expected to close at the end of the month, and Welders Supply and its employees will join nexAir’s Alabama operations effective March 2. The company will spend the coming weeks converting the Welders Supply facilities to nexAir branches.
