Manufacturing Technology Inc. purchases ProSpot Welding

Manufacturing Technology Inc. (MTI), South Bend, Ind., has finalized the purchase of ProSpot, a resistance welding machinery and consumables company located in Tamworth, U.K. The acquisition doubles the size of MTI’s U.K. subsidiary and adds to its previously acquired British Federal brand of resistance welding machines.

MTI is a provider of friction and resistance welding technology, including rotary friction, linear friction, and friction stir welding.
