Messer Cutting Systems names new president/CEO

Thermal cutting gantry machine manufacturer Messer Cutting Systems Inc., Menomonee Falls, Wis., has appointed Bill Heller as president and CEO, effective Sept. 1. For the past five years, he has held the position of technology products sales manager for laser machines. Heller graduated from University of Mount Union in Ohio with a business degree and has more than 37 years in the welding and cutting field, with a focus on robotic automation.

Heller succeeds Gary Norville, who will retire Aug. 29. Norville started at the company in September 1980 selling and installing cutting machines. During his career with the firm, he worked in many different departments, becoming president and CEO in 2007.
