Midwest Eng. Systems to offer welding systems

Midwest Eng. Systems Inc., a provider of custom machines and integrated systems in West Allis, Wis., has announced the expansion of technical expertise and automation systems for robotic arc welding systems and services.

Terry Merrifield and Scott Cornelison, formerly of Beyond Automation Robotics and Practical Robotic Solutions located in Fort Collins, Colo., have partnered with the company to expand its capabilities to design, build, and implement custom robotic welding systems and robotic positioners.

The company offers GMAW and GTAW robotic welding systems, resistance arc/spot welding systems, heavy- and light-gauge material welding, and tandem and twin-arc processes for large payloads from 1,000 to 50,000+ kg, as well as smaller preconfigured systems.
