RIA members answer questions online

A new networking service called Ask the Experts has been launched by the Robotic Industries Association, Ann Arbor, Mich., on Robotics Online. Only RIA members may serve on the panel of experts, giving advice on everything from old robot parts to new technology to careers.

Once a question from the site has been approved by association staff, an alert goes to experts in the pertinent category. Experts simply log in to their company's control panel on Robotics Online, click the inquiry, and respond at their discretion. When a question is answered, a connection between expert and client is opened up, including a link to more information about the expert's company as published on Robotics Online.
