Simufact Eng., Presstec Pressentechnologie form partnership

Simufact Eng. GmbH, Hamburg, Germany, a provider of software and services for bulk metal forming, and Presstec Pressentechnologie GmbH, a provider of hydraulic presses and mechanical high-speed blanking and stamping presses in Kehl, Germany, have formed a technological partnership.

During the development of new machines and the tuning of existing machines, customers will have the opportunity to optimize forming processes and adjust them to their equipment. Before production users now will be able to determine whether a special forming process can be implemented and how an optimized process should look.

Additionally, Simufact Eng. supports Presstec's activities at the department of material engineering at Technical College Offenburg by providing Simufact.forming simulation software. Students can use the software to simulate forming processes in a practical simulation environment to optimize processes.
