Matheson acquires Airweld

Matheson, Basking Ridge, N.J., has acquired the assets and business of US Airweld Inc., Phoenix, with operations located throughout Arizona and New Mexico. The purchase is expected to improve Matheson’s existing business in Phoenix; Tucson, Ariz.; and Albuquerque, N.M., and expand the network to new parts of both states. The acquired business will become a part of the Matheson Packaged Gas Division.

Matheson is a source for industrial, medical, specialty, and electronic gases; gas handling equipment; high-performance purification systems; engineering and gas management services; and on-site gas generation.
