Haldex to manufacture compressors in China

Stockholm, Sweden-based Haldex, a provider of components to the global automotive industry, announced today it has signed a license and manufacturing agreement with a subsidiary of ASIMCO Technologies Ltd., located in Beijing, China, to manufacture a new Haldex-designed twin-cylinder compressor for the heavy truck market. Haldex will market and service the compressor in markets outside China. Initial deliveries of the compressor from Haldex will begin in late 2005.
