Taylor-Wharton appoints European sales, marketing manager

Taylor-Wharton, an operating unit of Harsco GasServ, Mechanicsburg, Pa., has announced that Karl A. Clausen, managing director of the company's European operations, is retiring at the end of 2005. In preparation for Clausen's retirement, Michael Rollins has been named as European sales and marketing manager.

Rollins assumed his position June 1, and is reporting directly to Clausen during the transition period. Rollins is responsible for directing the European sales of all of the company's cryogenic equipment, high-pressure cylinders and acetylene cylinders; Sherwood precision valves; and Structural Composites Industries composite-wrapped cylinders.

Rollins is a graduate of Florida State University with more than 15 years' experience in sales and marketing.
