Delcam announces new hires
- May 7, 2009
- News Release
- Manufacturing Software
Software provider Delcam is introducing two new staff members at the EASTEC exhibition May 19 to 21 in Springfield, Mass. David Gray has joined the company as sales engineer for the Southeast U.S., in particular Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi, and Chris Cole has been appointed as an additional applications engineer, working on the company's feature-based FeatureCAM CAM system and the soon-to-be-released Delcam for SolidWorks product.
Coincidentally, David Gray was brought up close to Delcam's Birmingham, U.K., headquarters. After completing his apprenticeship in mechanical engineering and holding a number of sales positions in the U.K., he moved to the U.S. in 1997. At this stage, David was focussed on the hardware side of the business. He subsequently moved across to CADCAM software sales, where he now has more than 10 years' experience.
Chris Cole has worked in manufacturing for almost 20 years since graduating from Virginia Tech. He spent 11 years in the machining industry before moving into the CAM business. Chris spent the next eight years using his CAM skills in demonstrations, training, and support.
