FMA Communications names group publisher

David Brambert has been named group publisher for FMA Communications, Inc., the publishing affiliate of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA).
As group publisher, Brambert is responsible for the strategic direction of FMA's industrial publications, which include The FABRICATOR, TPJ-the Tube & Pipe Journal, STAMPING Journal, Practical Welding Today, and Green Manufacturer as well as the association's e-newsletters, vendor directories, and websites.
Brambert has more than 27 years of experience in the publishing industry, 12 of them as either publisher or group publisher. His prior employers include Miller Freeman Publishing, Cygnus Business Media and Allured Business Media.
Most recently, Brambert was a consultant for B2B media companies assessing sales, marketing, editorial, and the corresponding infrastructure. Prior to that position, he was group publisher for Allured Business Media.
Brambert has a bachelor's degree in communications from Loyola University in Chicago and is pursuing a master's of business administration at Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He resides in Bloomingdale, Ill.

Youdell was FMA Communications group publisher prior to Brambert's appointment.
Rockford, Ill.-based Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International (FMA) is a professional organization with nearly 2,300 members working together to improve the metal forming and fabricating industry. Founded in 1970, FMA brings metal fabricators and fabricating equipment manufacturers together through technology councils, educational programs, networking events, industry trade publications and the FABTECH® trade show. FMA also has two technology affiliates: the Tube & Pipe Association, International (TPA), which focuses on the unique needs of companies engaged in tube and pipe producing and fabricating, and the Green Manufacturer Network (GMN) which serves the employees of companies that are focused on improving their utilization of green technologies.
