Two PPG Industries coatings named best of 2014 by Architectural Record

PPG Industries, Pittsburgh, has announced that its DURANAR® GR (graffiti-resistant) and CORAFLON® GR coatings for architectural metal have been selected as best new products of the year in the Finishes and Surfacing category in Architectural Record magazine’s annual competition.

Both function as factory-applied clearcoats over the pigmented layer of a metal coating that can be wiped clean with DURAPREP® 400 graffiti remover. In addition to protecting coated surfaces from spray paint, they enable the removal of pen and marker ink, bugs, tar, and scuff marks.
