Hypertherm establishes rebate program for students, graduates

Hypertherm, a Hanover, N.H.-based metal cutting system manufacturer, has announced the launch of its new "American Built. Building America" educational rebate program. Current students or new graduates of a welding or metal fabrication program are eligible to receive up to $500 worth of VISA gift cards, depending on the Hypertherm system they purchase.

Students need to be enrolled or have graduated from an accredited school or training program and have purchased their system through an authorized Hypertherm distributor. A rebate form and complete eligibility requirements are available at www.plasmaeducation.com.

"Welders are already in short supply, and that shortage is only expected to become worse in the coming years," said Betsy VanDuyne, who manages Hypertherm's educational program. "This is why the support of tomorrow's welders is incredibly important. We want to be sure new welders entering the workforce have the tools and training they need to enjoy a successful and rewarding career."
