JK Lasers appoints sales director
As part of its global expansion plans, industrial laser manufacturer JK Lasers, Bedford, Mass., has appointed Andrew Dodd as the new sales director for North America.
With 28 years of experience in the industrial laser industry, Dodd is responsible for sales and technical support. Before joining the company, he ran the Midwest sales operation for Miyachi.
As part of his role, Dodd oversees the establishment of a dedicated sales and service facility in southeast Michigan. The new site will incorporate specialist applications laboratories where the company can demonstrate products and processes to customers.
JK Lasers, part of the GSI Group, produces fiber lasers, Nd:YAG lasers, and process tools.
