Ahaus Tool & Eng. adds vertical machining center
Ahaus Tool & Eng. Inc., Richmond, Ind., has added a vertical machining center, expanding its capabilities in machining medium and large parts and workholding fixtures.
The Okuma Millac 1052V II vertical machining center has an 11,000-lb. load capacity, an 86- by 41-in. table, Okuma THINC OSP-P300M control and thermal compensation, TAS-S and TAS-C, and a 30-HP motor. The 6,000-RPM spindle can cut aluminum, stainless steel, tool steels, and exotic material.
