Numet signs long-term agreements totaling $170 million

Numet Machining Techniques, Orange, Conn., a manufacturer of precision metal components and assemblies for jet turbine engines, has signed long-term agreements (LTAs) with three customers in excess of $170 million. This increases the company’s backlog through 2020 to more than $250 million.

These LTAs place the company in most major engine markets, including numerous engines for GE Aviation, Pratt & Whitney, and Boeing.
