Marmon/Keystone holds supplier recognition day

Marmon/Keystone, a wholesale distributor of tubular products in Butler, Pa., recently hosted its annual Supplier Recognition Day, attended by more than 80 multinational supplier representatives from 47 qualifying companies.

Perfect performance awards were presented to the five suppliers with the highest scores in the areas of on-time delivery, zero defects, and outstanding service for 2011. The recipients are Southland Tube Inc., Birmingham, Ala.; Industrial Hard Chrome, Geneva, Ill.; Vest Inc., Los Angeles; Welded Tube of Canada, Concord, Ont.; V&M USA, Houston.

Wheatland Tube Co., Sharon, Pa., was rated the most improved supplier for Marmon/Keystone's U.S. locations. Bull Moose Tube Co., Chesterfield, Mo., was awarded most improved supplier servicing Canadian branches.
