Daifuku North America moves headquarters to new location in Michigan

Material handling equipment provider Daifuku North America Holding Co. has announced plans to move its headquarters from Farmington Hills, Mich., to Novi, Mich., in Q3 2017. The new building is four miles from the current headquarters.

The 76,889-sq.-ft. facility, housing more than 300 employees, will have an in-house demonstration center and a factory acceptance testing center. The company says it will create 85 new jobs by 2019; most jobs will be created at the Novi location, with the balance at the manufacturing facilities in Boyne City and Harbor Springs, Mich.
