ClarkDietrich receives ISO-compliant EPDs for steel framing products
ClarkDietrich™ Building Systems, a West Chester, Ohio-based manufacturer of cold-formed steel framing in North America, has received third party-verified, ISO-compliant Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its steel product portfolio.
Information in the EPDs is based on an ISO-compliant Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). This detailed analysis considers all processes in the life cycle of a product, including raw material extraction and refining, energy use and efficiency during manufacture, and transportation methods.
The firm also recycles 100 percent of steel waste at its manufacturing facilities, and product development includes optimal use of material and ease of construction.
