Diehl Steel acquired by Hitachi Metals
Diehl Steel Co. Inc., Cincinnati, has been acquired by Tokyo-based Hitachi Metals Ltd., and its assets have been transferred to a subsidiary of Hitachi Metals America LLC, a specialty steel producer and distributor.
Diehl has been renamed Diehl Tool Steel Inc. The company supplies tool steel, alloy steel, CPM® powder metal, mold steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products and services.
