Gibbs Wire & Steel establishes new website

Gibbs Wire & Steel Co., a metal service center based in Southington, Conn., has launched a new website at www.gibbswire.com. The new website will enable metals buyers to access tools and technical information to help in the purchasing process.

The site includes a list of finished coil stock, updated daily, that can be purchased at a discount and shipped the same day. Several tools are available, including coil conversion and toll processing calculators, that provide information on which of the company's North American locations can slit, edge, or oscillate material depending on specific requirements. Also included are historical nickel information and technical bulletins for all stock items.

The site also contains the company's current monthly nickel/chromium surcharges.
