ITA now accepting nominations for Titanium Application Development Award

The International Titanium Association (ITA), Northglenn, Colo., is seeking nominations for an individual, group of individuals, or organization within the titanium industry that has shown significant achievement toward improving and expanding the use of titanium. This award is intended to distinguish and remunerate commendable work and potentially help support the continued development of the application.

Applicants are encouraged to nominate anyone within the titanium arena (ITA member or nonmember) by the deadline of July 1, 2015. Candidates’ qualifications and considerations may include:

• Significant achievement toward improving and expanding the use of titanium.
• Promoting titanium products in new applications or enhancing the performance of titanium in existing applications.
• Unveiling a technical breakthrough specifically expanding the use of titanium.
• Inaugurating or influencing outstanding research or marketing programs leading to the expansion of the titanium market or titanium products.
• Initiating or creating important new and imaginative uses for titanium.
