Klein Steel opens steel service center in New York

Klein Steel Service Inc. has announced the opening of a 40,000-sq.-ft. steel service center located adjacent to its headquarters in Rochester, N.Y.

The $8 million facility is expected to create 50 new jobs and expand the company’s capacity and product capabilities. The steel production system performs multiple operations automatically—from shotblasting and sawing to tracking and loading—which are managed and monitored through intelligent devices. The company’s certified technicians perform vital diagnostic and quality control tasks.
