Metal Sales Mfg. provides roof, wall panels to Central Arizona College Maricopa Campus

Metal Sales™ Mfg. Corp., Louisville, Ky., has provided 133,000 sq. ft. of roof and wall panels to outfit the Central Arizona College (CAC) Maricopa Campus. The campus consists of three academic sheds and a central plant. The project team’s goal was to create highly sustainable structures that complement their surrounding landscape.

The buildings feature a rectangular design with slanted roofs and deep canopies to provide a shaded outdoor area. The company provided 90,000 sq. ft. of its mechanically seamed 22-ga. Magna-Loc roof panel and 20,000 sq. ft. of T5 trapezoidal rib panels for use on the canopies, both with a COR-TEN® AZP® Raw finish. The firm also supplied 23,000 sq. ft. of A606 Type 4 preweathered flat sheets.
