Metals Supply Co. appoints president
Metals Supply Co. Ltd., Houston-based subsidiary of Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., has named John Hess as president. Hess has more than 27 years of steel service center industry experience, the last 25 years with Delta Steel.
Hess first worked in inside sales and was promoted to sales manager, then to assistant general manager. In 1989 he was promoted to general manager of Delta Steel's Tulsa, Okla., operation, and in 1993 he moved to Houston to become general manager of that facility.
Metals Supply Co. distributes structural steel in the Gulf Coast region and exports to customers in Latin America, the Middle East, and southeast Asia.
