Schmolz + Bickenbach expands global sales and services network

Germany-based long steel products provider Schmolz + Bickenbach Intl. has announced it is expanding its global sales and service presence with increased sales, warehouses, and processing capacities in the U.S., Asia, and Scandinavia markets.

According to the company, the sales offices will push special steel from Schmolz + Bickenbach Group's own production, including products from Deutsche Edelstahlwerke (Germany), Finkl Steel (Canada, U.S.), Steeltec (Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Turkey), Swiss Steel (Switzerland), and Ugitech (Germany, France, Italy).

In December 2015 the company opened a subsidiary in Tokyo and a sales office in Bangkok. The firm also opened a warehouse for tool steel, including sawing and milling technologies, in China. At the sales and services location in Mumbai, the company has raised sawing capacities.
