Taber Extrusions adds precision sawing capabilities

Taber Extrusions has added two news saws to its Russellville, Ark., facility for precision sawing of rod and bar, standard extruded shapes, and customized aluminum extrusion profiles.

With the new band saw and circular saw, the company's cut tolerances are up to ±0.010 in. in length and squareness of cut across widths from 0.75 to 32 in. Both saws are custom-made for aluminum cutting.

Taber Extrusions LLC produces aluminum extrusions in a variety of sizes and shapes from 2000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 alloy series.
