Orbitform appoints senior controls engineer, product team leader

Orbitform Group, Jackson, Mich., has appointed Thom Barry (right) as product team manager and Evan Marshall (left) as senior controls engineer.

Barry, who has more than 30 years' experience in impact riveting and automation equipment manufacturing, machining, and assembly, will lead the ImpactArbor product lines. He spent the last 10 years as vice president of manufacturing for Milford Fastening Systems, Milford, Conn., which recently was purchased by the Orbitform Group.

Marshall has more than 10 years' experience in custom-designed automation machinery. He previously worked as controls engineer at Midbrook Products. Before that he worked at Koyo Corp. in Battle Creek for five years designing and programming production equipment. Marshall has a bachelor's degree in industrial automation and currently is working on his master's degree in engineering management.
