Bunzl Distribution acquires Steiner Industries

Bunzl Distribution, a St. Louis-based nonperishable goods supplier, has acquired Steiner Industries Inc., a Chicago-based manufacturer and wholesaler of personal protection equipment (PPE) for U.S. industrial distributors supplying the welding and industrial sectors.

This is Bunzl’s third 2015 acquisition of PPE manufacturer wholesalers. In June the company acquired Memphis-based Cordova Safety Products, and in January it acquired Los Angeles-based John Tillman Co.
